Dr A's Science Report
Andy Evans was a member of the Pharmaceutical industry for 27 years and in the Scientific Instrument industry for 8 years before that. His specialty was small molecule structure identification using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). He received his BS in Chemistry from Georgia Tech and his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Georgia. He carried out two post doctoral studies, one at the Centre d'Etudes Nucleaires in Grenoble, France and the other at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. In retirement he pursues his interests in science and continues to try to run at least 500 miles a year.
